About us
We are a community of born-again Christians from Frankfurt and the surrounding area.
Our aim as a reformed church is to spread the gospel in order to bring people back to God and to strengthen each other in our faith.
We are part of the LIFE WORD MISSION of the Jesus Baptist Church, headquartered in South Korea, where our missionary comes from.
As an international church every nationality is welcome in our congregation to unite on the basis of our faith in Christ. The sermons are held in German and Korean, but our team of translators is also available in English, Spanish and Mongolian.

Our profession of faith
We refer exclusively to the Word of God in the Bible.
The holy bible
We believe that the Old and New Testaments, which were written by men through the inspiration of God, are the true Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:15-16
The triune God
God is almighty and the founder of the universe. He is One as God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit. They are one in a trinity.
John 1:1-3, John 1:14, John 10:30, Isaiah 9:6, Romans 8:9, Romans 9:5, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 John 5:20
The Holy Spirit
God is on earth in the form of the Holy Spirit, enlightening people to recognise their sins and saving them with the Word of God. He not only dwells in us Christians, but also builds up the churches by uniting Christians.
John 16:7-8, 1 Corinthians 6:19,
Ephesians 4:3-4
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a ransom for the sins of the world, rose again on the third day, ascended to heaven as high priest and mediator, and will soon return.
Romans 4:25, Matthew 1:18-25,
Matthew 20:28, Hebrews 7:24, Job 16:19,
Job 19:25, Acts 1:9-11
Salvation
We believe that Jesus Christ made eternal salvation possible entirely through his own blood by dying on the cross and thus taking the sin of the world upon himself. The salvation we received is eternal and will never be lost. We did not receive it by keeping the law or by good deeds, but by faith in the grace that is perfected through Jesus Christ by the word of God.
John 10:28, John 1:29, Ephesians 2:8-9, Hebrews 9:12, 1 Peter 1:23

Sin and judgement
We believe that all mankind became sinners through one man, Adam. Each person will be judged by the righteous God according to his works.
Romans 5:12, Hebrews 9:27,
Revelation 20:12-15
Resurrection and Rapturelvation
We believe in the heavenly return of Jesus Christ shortly before the beginning of the seven-year tribulation. On the day of His return, the Christians who have died will rise first, and the living Christians will be transformed together with them. Then, they will meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17,
1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Corinthians 15:51–52
The Millennial Kingdom and the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven
We believe in the final judgment of the world, which will take place after the earthly return of Jesus Christ. After this judgment, the millennial kingdom will be established, and the born-again Christians, the citizens of God’s kingdom, will enter the new heaven and the new earth. There they will be blessed with eternal life and the glory of being with God.
Revelation 21:1–4, Zechariah 14:4, Psalm 2:5–9, Revelation 20:4–6
The church
We believe that the church is an assembly of born-again Christians who have been united in the Holy Spirit. It is a place where we meet with love and have fellowship together. The church is the body of Christ and the born-again Christians are the individual members that together reflect the body.
Ephesians 1:23, 1 Corinthians 1:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, 1 Corinthians 12:27
Sacred ceremonies
We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ceremonies that God has commanded us to hold. Baptism is a sign of salvation through the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The bread and wine at communion are the symbolic reminders of his body and blood.
Matthew 28:19-20, Romans 6:4-5, 1 Peter 3:20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
